sport Security

As major sporting events become increasingly prominent on the global stage, their attractiveness as potential targets to adversarial actors – whether political activists, opportunistic criminals or sophisticated terrorists – has naturally increased in tandem.

At Keystone Global, we not only recognise that this dynamic demands new ways of thinking about risk mitigation, but we also strive to help clients identify and harness the opportunities that are all too often missed.

Our planning methodology begins by gaining a comprehensive understanding of our clients' security requirements and the specific sports operations. This holistic approach to sporting events security can be distilled into the following four-stage cycle:

-           Identify and Analyse Risk Exposure;

-           Develop Risk Management Techniques;

-           Select Risk Management Techniques;

-           Monitor and Review

In addition, our risk management process is overlaid with intelligence inputs derived from both open and privileged sources. The net result is a product that ensures all event plans and decisions are informed by both a rigorous methodology and an accurate understanding of the situation on the ground in terms of current or potential threats facing the event.

Through this, our clients gain a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the requirements of their event from a security risk management perspective and what is needed to ensure its success.

Executive Protection

The ever-increasing risk facing corporate executives, high net-worth individuals and celebrities is well-understood but rarely translates into the development of the kind of comprehensive mitigation strategies that are ultimately needed to manage those threats.

With our decades-long experience working in Executive Protection, our clients turn to us knowing that their personnel will always be kept secure and their needs will be met through a strategic approach to managing and minimising exposure to risks.

The Keystone Global Personal Protection team is comprised of former law enforcement, police, military and private sector personnel who have been subjected to a rigorous selection and vetting process to ensure the highest calibre of recruits.

Our team of both male and female close protection officers are discreet and professional with extensive experience operating in Africa, Asia and beyond. However, our level of protection extends beyond ensuring safety in the physical world – we also examine open-sources, from social media to the Dark Web, to identify public disclosures of travel plans or any potential threats against personnel or activist concerns.

The professionalism and experience of the Keystone Global Personal Protection team combined with of our intelligence-led approach to risk management mean our clients can be at peace while ambitious projects are undertaken, corporate leaders complete public engagements and personnel are deployed to hostile corners of the globe.

Event Security

Keystone Global recognises that the risk landscape is constantly changing and how mitigation measures must continuously evolve in line with those changes in order to remain effective.

Our track record of delivering event security solutions stretches back over two decades and has seen us provide event security, project coordination and management services to large organisations and corporate clients globally. All of our clients have benefited from the rigorous but efficient security planning approach we bring to all of our work, which facilitates the development of mitigation strategies that are fit for purpose, practical and implementable.

But at Keystone Global, understanding our clients’ needs and the operational requirements of the event is always the first step; we then undertake a bespoke threat assessment for the project that is used to inform the entire planning process and development of all safety and security measures – an approach we call People, Project, Asset and Brand (PPAB).

Health and Safety (OHS)

Keystone Global have provided Event Safety for local and international organisations over the past 13 years. Our methodology has been developed through years of experience securing public events and enables us to provide our clients with a turnkey solution that is practical, location-specific and in-line with local health and safety regulations.

In addition to supporting the planning phase, Keystone Global can also provide experienced and qualified Health and Safety staff to secure major events. Our trained professionals are capable of working in all environments, including jurisdictions with little to no government enforcement of health and safety regulations, while always applying global best practices and norms.

We subject all projects to our Pre-Event Safety Risk Assessment, which forms part of the initial stage of the Keystone Global Risk Management Methodology/cycle:

- Identify and Analyse Risk Exposure,

- Develop Risk Management Techniques,

- Select Risk Management Techniques

- Monitor and Review

risk Assessments

We live in an exciting but increasingly uncertain world, one where established geopolitical contours are being constantly redefined and established practices challenged – not only with the emergence of new state powers and the displacement of old ones, but also with the advent of ever-more-powerful and disruptive technologies.

Organisations turn to Keystone Global to help them navigate this uncertainty and manage the attendant risks while also identifying and leveraging the potential opportunities at hand.

The process we follow is:

- Consultation with client to assess their needs and required outcome

- We deploy our Risk Assessment process

- Provide report on Risk Assessment outcome

- Provide recommendations and mitigation strategies

- Implementation

During this whole process, Keystone Global is guided by internationally accepted best practices that doesn't just keep the client safe from liability, but also the spectators and staff.

athlete and Team Security

The need for specific security arrangements to be provided for athletes and teams is a best practice that has been adopted globally by most sporting bodies. Keystone Global has been providing trained personnel in this space for over 13 years and has developed strategic safety and security solutions tailored to our client's requirements.

Our bespoke and comprehensive approach to athlete and team security has been developed over our many years out in the field supporting clients and providing athletes and teams with the confidence that they need to remain focused on their end of business, rather than security.

Keystone Global's approach provides clients with a substantially higher level of service, safety and protection.
